Organic Gardening

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Whitney Farms for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Recently, I have been trying to improve my overall health.  I started taking additional

vitamins and supplements.  I feel like I hit 40 and my body has just gone out-of-whack!

Anyone else like that??

One of the suggestions made by the book that I am reading is to trying eating more organic

foods....the problem, they are expensive!!

So this summer, I am going to try and be more diligent about growing my own vegetables.

I spent the other day weeding my garden....wow, what it neglected!

We are also getting ready to do our seed starters.

In the past, we have made our own form of organic fertilizer.....we call it "poop soup."

Basically, my hubby goes into the pasture field next door, "borrows" some horse and cow manure and

we put it in a bucket, mix it up with water and make our own fertilizer.  Something about that

just struck me as GROSS this year, but I still wanted organic soil.

I was reading recently about Whitney Farms®....a full line of 100% plant foods and soils with no additives...nothing artificial!

So as we are starting to think about growing our seed starters for our garden this year, I

am leaning toward an organic plant food option instead of heavy chemicals or

"poop soup!"
